Experience NextGen Reporting Automation and Reading at SRU 2022

Reporting Automation and Ultrasound Viewing that Dramatically Improve Productivity and Diagnostic Quality of Ultrasound

PHOENIX, AZ, Oct. 14, 2022 – Imorgon, the developer of advanced review and reporting solutions that improve productivity and quality of ultrasound exams, introduced today its NextGen System at the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound Annual Meeting and Annual Meeting (SRU), Oct. 14-16, 2022. Imorgon’s NextGen creates a breakthrough in productivity and quality through its unique ScanSide Reporting Automation for sonographers and SpeedRead Ultrasound Viewing for Radiologists.

“Imorgon believes the most significant opportunity in ultrasound is to significantly improve the workflow of an ultrasound exam. NextGen is a breakthrough product in this regard through two components,” said Imorgon’s Andy Milkowski. “First, ScanSide provides a Sonographer all current and prior exam information at the ultrasound system. It also enables for completely electronic transfer of observations and measurements creating a preliminary structured report before the exam is complete. Secondly, SpeedRead immediately presents Radiologists with a preliminary report enabling the Radiologist to concentrate on diagnosing the clinical case. NextGen is an essential solution today because of the continuing increase in the number of exams, reduction of reimbursement, and personnel shortages of radiologists and sonographers. Lastly, an important by-product of these improvements will be the reduction of diagnostic errors—errors that could seriously affect the health of patients and loved ones.”

The Imorgon NextGen System’s Sonographer ScanSide provides 20% effort reduction by eliminating handwritten worksheets, notes, and workstations. Prior study images, reports, measurements, and drawings are available with a touch at the ultrasound system. Sonographers can create, review, and edit active study order, images, drawings, measurements, and electronic worksheets with one finger. Complete QC functionality is also at hand – even during portables.

The NextGen System’s Radiologist SpeedRead facilitates a 30% effort reduction by decreasing searching, clicking, scrolling, and dictation. Built upon Imorgon’s market-defining workflow enhancements of automatic clip playing and re-ordering, this breakthrough is compatible with all major PACS, HIS/RIS systems, and Nuance Powerscribe™.

To see a demonstration of NextGen System and the benefits of Imorgon’s Sonographer ScanSide and Radiologist SpeedRead, please visit the SRU Exhibition Hall during the conference.
