Imorgon v2 Launches at RSNA 2025 — Faster Radiology Reporting

Imorgon v2 Launches at RSNA 2025 — Faster Radiology Reporting

29 November 2025 Andy Milkowski

Imorgon announces Imorgon v2, a significant upgrade to its structured‑reporting platform that automates measurement capture, prior retrieval, and integrated calculators to reduce non‑interpretive reporting time. The new radiology reporting software is designed to generate preliminary reports from measurements and worksheets, allowing radiologists to focus on diagnosis rather than data entry.

What’s New in Imorgon v2

  • Expanded integration: Imports non-standard output like CSV files in addition to DICOM SR integration.
  • Prior measurement retrieval: Automatic prior measurement lookup for easy longitudinal tracking.
  • Automated calculations: Built‑in percent‑difference and volume calculations to remove manual steps.
  • Clinical decision support: Embedded clinical guidelines (TI‑RADS, O‑RADS), eliminating the copying of values back and forth from multiple websites.
  • Enterprise EHR compatibility: Integrated into EHR systems (e.g., Epic) to eliminate additional endpoint management.

According to early users, the new features deliver immediate efficiency gains. One user commented that “automated transfer of measurements and findings allowed our team to spend less time on manual entry and more time on accurate diagnosis.” PR Newswire

How does this improve radiology workflow efficiency

Imorgon v2 reduces redundant transcription tasks that consume clinicians’ time.

  • Completing the documentation portion of the report frees radiologists to focus on diagnosis.
  • Lower report turnaround time and backlog
  • Reduce human errors and variability

Automated ultrasound reporting or other measurement-driven exams that automate measurement intake and calculations obviously make an impact. However, to fully implement radiology

How Imorgon v2 works

Imorgon v2 structured reporting platform listens for measurements from modalities and any worksheet inputs. An on-premise Imorgon server processes this information into usable structured report fields. This processing can include computing percent differences and volumes, as well as providing clinical guidance, etc. The structured report fields are sent to the reporting package to create a preliminary report.

About Imorgon

Imorgon builds clinical reporting tools that reduce noninterpretive work and improve the reliability of diagnostic workflows. The company works with radiology groups, hospitals, and imaging centers to streamline measurement capture, reporting, and compliance with guidelines.

How is Imorgon v2 unique in improving radiology workflow efficiency?

Many structured reporting platforms have DICOM SR integration (e.g., Modlink, Laurel Bridge Compass) to reduce radiologist-dictated measurements. Imorgon goes much further:

  • Automated prior measurement retrieval eliminates the need to find and transcribe
  • Automated calculations such as percent difference and volumes
  • Integrated engine to support clinical decision support calculators

Together, all of these items generate text that completes a preliminary findings report for the radiologist.

Does Imorgon support DICOM SR and other file types?

Imorgon supports DICOM SR and other exportable file types. For example, CSV is a file type exported by many 3D workstations such as TeraRecon.

Is Imorgon compatible with Epic and major EHR systems?

Yes, Imorgon is unique in its support of most EHR systems. EHR systems, such as Epic, support third-party integrations, and Imorgon is launched within the patient’s records. This integration eliminates the need to configure and manage any additional user applications.

Other EHRs, even without the ability to support third-party applications, offer command-line customization, which benefits by automatically opening the correct patient worksheet and resolving logins.
